Violin / Viola Lessons

Lessons starting at ages 3+ We offer a robust strings program designed to help violinists and violists excel through individual lessons. Our violin and viola department boasts an outstanding artist-faculty trained in both the Suzuki philosophy and other traditional methods.

Myelin Chamber Ensemble

Age 18+

A strings chamber ensemble for adult musicians ages 18+. Join us for an immersive musical experience where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills as a collaborative musician in a supportive and dynamic group setting

Violin Explorers

Ages 4-8

Violin Explorers is an 8-week exploration of the violin for beginners ages 4–8 and their Caregivers.

Suzuki Repertoire

Ages 3–18

Suzuki group repertoire classes reinforce concepts and repertoire students learn in their individual lessons. These group classes also develop tone and ear training through fun games and activities. Students listen to their friends while playing in unison in a supportive, fun environment.

Strings Chamber Ensembles

Ages 8-18

Our Chamber Ensembles program provides a structured coaching, rehearsal, and performance experience that facilitates high-level chamber music collaboration among students.

Conservatory Players Orchestra

Ages 6–12

Conservatory Players is a reading string orchestra program. Allegro is for string players who have some experience on their instrument. Brio is for returning Conservatory Players ready for the next level.

Frontier Strings

Ages 8–18

Comprised of select violin students, Frontier Strings performs a variety of repertoire — pop songs, sacred music, fiddle tunes, classical show tunes, and movie music — all from memory. Members audition in and delight audiences with their stunt fiddling, dance moves, and hula hooping!

Masterclasses

All Ages

Step up your musical skill level with an expert in your chosen area of study. The calibre of instructors give students more than just music education; it’s a chance for learners of all types to engage and network with world-class musicians and people.

Tuneful Tots

Ages 0–4

An early childhood music class for children ages 0–4. This class provides a pressure-free space for kids to learn music through rhymes, songs, and rhythms.

Performance Club

Students ages 5+, join us for this low-pressure & supportive performance opportunity!

Suzuki Strings

The Suzuki philosophy teaches every child can learn through the mother-tongue approach and immersion in music as a second language.

String Sprouts

Founded in 2013 by the Omaha Conservatory of Music, String Sprouts is a revolutionary music education program providing thousands of children with lessons for violin, viola, cello, and bass at no or limited costs to families.
