Expanding Your Knowledge
Seminars are exclusive, unique educational opportunities for Omaha Conservatory of Music students that extend beyond the traditional material covered in lessons. Seminars are held throughout the year and led by different Artist–Faculty members, covering various topics like film scores, practice resources and audition prep. Currently, only students who have been issued Group Seminar credits can sign up for seminars. To earn a Group Seminar credit, your teacher will have had to have missed a regularly scheduled lesson due to illness or other conflict.
Your Group Seminar credits are assigned in Opus1. To sign up for a Seminar, log into your Opus1 profile and click “Use Group Credit” to register for the Seminar of your choice.
