Violin / Viola Lessons
Individual Lessons
Our strings program boasts an outstanding artist-faculty trained in both the Suzuki philosophy and other traditional methods. No matter the method, we all agree that instilling a sense of competence and confidence in an engaging environment is key to motivating excellence. Our string department comprises more than 200 students ranging from beginning players to young artists winning concerto competitions. Students who enroll in individual lessons participate in twice-yearly solo recitals, graduation ceremonies, and curriculum-related performances and classes.
Semi-Private & Small Group Lessons
We also offer violin / viola lessons in semi-private and small group formats.
Semi-Private Lessons: Semi-private lessons see two (2) students paired with one (1) Artist-Faculty member. During the lesson, your student’s teacher will spend focused time with both students, helping them to hone their skills and crush their musical goals.
Small Group Lessons: Small-group lessons feature three to four (3–4) students paired with one (1) Artist-Faculty member. Each student will receive individual time with their teacher while also getting the chance to observe and collaborate with their peers!
