Thank you to all of the families that joined us for this capstone concert celebrating a unique and challenging year of musical learning.
It’s Sprouts in the Park 2021! Featuring performances by Frontier Strings, String Sprouts teachers and Sprouts students – it was a concert to remember! Whether you joined classes virtually or in person this past year, we are so thankful to see so many young kiddos growing in their musicianship in our String Sprouts program!
The String Sprouts program brings five years of free classes and instruments to 3- and 4-year-olds, at strategically selected areas of Omaha and beyond, who otherwise wouldn’t have access to such opportunities. Ruth Meints, Executive Director of the Omaha Conservatory, has created a unique curriculum that includes delightful new repertoire written by a young, local composer Dryden Meints. A huge thank you to Valmont Inc and Mutual of Omaha for sponsoring this wonderful event. Photography by Foton-Foto
