Conservatory students to be featured at next Orchestra Omaha concert
Omaha Conservatory of Music students were awarded two of three featured spots in Orchestra Omaha‘s Young Artist Competition concert next month.
Alina Hatfield, who studies piano with artist-faculty member Anne Madison; and Pranay Neelakanta, who studies violin with Ruth Meints, were announced as 2017 Young Artist Competition winners, and will perform with Orchestra Omaha at 7pm March 11 in the Conservatory concert hall.
Alina will play the 1st movement of Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor. Pranay will play “Spring” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
Admission is free, but a $5-10 donation per person is suggested.
