Omaha Conservatory of Music is a nonprofit music school dedicated to improving lives through education and performance.
We currently serve nearly 2,000 students. 30% of our private lessons students rely on financial aid, and 90% of String Sprouts participate for free. In total, we award nearly $1,000,000 in free programming and scholarships annually!
Here’s a highlight of our awesome, innovative programming:
- Rock Lab — an engaging rock band simulation
- Tuneful Tots — an introductory class designed for children ages 0–4
- String Sprouts — a low-to-no-cost five-year program for underserved kids and their Caregivers (instruments are included!)
- Frontier Strings — an advanced touring fiddle group that wows with its musical skills and on-stage stuntwork
- Lessons for over a dozen instruments, including piano, violin, French horn and beyond!
Above all, we believe music makes us better.
And that’s why we are dedicated to removing as many barriers as possible between our students and music education. With your generous gift, you become an important changemaker for thousands of families across Omaha. Thank you!
