Conservatory piano student earns second place at Kearney orchestra competition
Congratulations to Alina Hatfield, who received second prize at the Kearney Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition on April 30.
According to the University of Kearney website, this competition “seeks to cultivate and promote emerging musical talent from Nebraska and its surrounding states — Iowa, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming, and South Dakota. It will provide a regional opportunity for students’ achievements to be recognized with prizes and performance opportunities, including the possibility of a performance with KSO.”
Alina studies with Conservatory artist-faculty member Anne Madison.
Way to go, Alina!
