Congrats to Our 2020 All-State Selected Participants
Every year, the Nebraska Music Education Association (NMEA) provides an opportunity for high school students (grades 9-12) to participate in an all-state honor ensemble:
- All-State Orchestra
- All-State Chorus
- All-State Band
- All-State Jazz Band
Students audition for the opportunity. This year’s All-State auditions were held virtually. In a standard year, selected students perform together in a group setting to mark the achievement, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic – students in most cases will perform virtually. The recognition that comes with being selected for All-State is an important achievement and milestone for music students and opens the eligibility for students to audition for the National Association for Music and All-National Honor Ensembles. Congratulations to these Omaha Conservatory of Music students for being selected for All-State 2020:
