Voice
Jacob Pohlsander is a dedicated vocal instructor with a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Redlands and over five years of teaching experience. At Omaha Conservatory of Music, Jacob brings his passion for music and commitment to student growth to his studio.
Jacob’s teaching philosophy emphasizes a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can develop their technical skills while also fostering creativity, confidence, and a deep love for music. His lessons are both challenging and enjoyable, tailored to inspire each student to reach their full potential.
In Jacob’s studio, students can expect a comprehensive approach to vocal training. Lessons are designed to focus on vocal technique, musical interpretation, and performance skills, ensuring that students build a strong foundation while also exploring their unique artistic voice. Jacob believes that learning should be both productive and fun, and he works closely with students and parents to set realistic goals and expectations.
Having recently relocated from Salt Lake City, Jacob brings fresh perspectives and a wealth of experience to his students. He’s known for his approachable and friendly demeanor, ensuring that lessons are an enjoyable experience for all ages. His students appreciate his focus on foundational techniques combined with a personalized approach that encourages artistic expression.
Outside of teaching, Jacob is a proud father and enjoys exploring his new surroundings in Omaha. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student, Jacob’s dynamic and thoughtful approach to teaching will help you discover your unique voice and advance your singing skills.
