Deanna Estrada
Flute, Piccolo
Deanna Estrada is an experienced music educator, musician, and performer. She has five years of experience teaching beginning band and orchestra in the public schools. She has taught private flute students ranging from beginners to advanced high school and college students.
Estrada also has at least 10 years of performing experience on the flute, piccolo, percussion, clarinet, and saxophone. She has performed in symphonies, wind ensembles, chamber groups, and pit orchestras in Eastern and Western Nebraska, Chicago, The Netherlands, and Belgium. Estrada received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is currently attending UNO to acquire a Master of Music in Flute Performance degree, studying under Dr. Christine Beard.
