Open Mic Night @ The Gig

Please keep things family-friendly: The Gig is open to the general public – being respectful of language and conduct is very important. We ask that there is no swearing or lewd or suggestive language.

Time limit: Performance sets are limited to 15 minutes. The host will interrupt your performance if needed.

Be prepared: Performers must be prepared when their name is called. Please be unpacked, tuned and ready to go.

Be patient: Wait to plug in until it is your time.

What’s provided: The Gig will provide: 2-microphones, 2 instrument cables, 2 amps, and 2 mic stands. Other than that, bring what you need. (please, no drum kits…hand drums only)

Be kind: Respect performers, respect the audience. Please do not play your instrument or have loud conversations during other performances. We encourage you to stay around for other performances. Be supportive and kind to other performers. Have fun!

Stick around: You must be present at 7 PM sharp to perform, even if your slot is later in the evening. When you are done performing, you are expected to stay and support the acts after you!
